RANDOM THOUGHTS 😉

"Random Thoughts & Roughica - Baile by Random Thoughts | ReverbNation" https://www.reverbnation.com/randomthoughts7/song/30485447-random-thoughts--roughica-baile Lately I have been having a lot of thoughts or rather opinions. I beg my readers to preserve their judgments for the supposedly ‘judgment day’. On a daily basis while walking down the streets I somehow must come across a human being, with both hands, both legs and no missing organ masquerading as a beggar. ‘saidia’ the first word that comes out of their mouths upon setting eyes upon me. Their pleas have never sway my actions, I developed an ability to be blind and dumb. a typical African must be like ‘you are such an awful ,ill-hearted human ,why can’t you help a beggar’ .Well your ‘highness’ judge of character, the mighty superhuman , why should I give my hard-earned money to a stranger ? why  can’t he/she go work his/her ass out there?  And even if the beggar is blind or has some body parts amputated, how will m...

AFRI-COLONIALISM

Image
"308 Colonialism Africa Illustrations & Clip Art - iStock" https://www.istockphoto.com/illustrations/colonialism-africa The white colonist never really departed, he left a black version of him with all his ideas and methodologies. Even though we do occasionally celebrate independence but we are still in shackles. We are prisoners of our very own imaginations. The black man somehow is convinced that 'dark/black' represents evil and 'white' represents the opposite. Lemme start from the most sensitive subject, religion. And in this case, Christianity to be specific. Each and every single one of us has never imagined Jesus to be black. He is considered white despite all the facts proving otherwise. Why can't the Bible pages be black with white writings? I might sound petty but deep down I'm making alot of sense. The whites planted a seed in our minds, a seed that's being a source of us never progressing as a community. An African man when a house b...

SEX EDUCATION

Image
Hello reader, what’s the first thought that crossed your mind upon setting your eyes on the title? To the Christian /Muslim born and raised counterparts, the three-letter word is a source of sin, haram. To the none religious raised, it’s an interesting mind-blowing word, a big deal to them. What about you our esteem writer, Mrs. know-it-all? Well, are you ready for the ride? take a seat, fix your eyes on the content, open your mind and be attentive because its gonna be a short and sweet journey.  The African society to be specific has been and still is naive when it comes to this topic. Why should we be afraid of nature? Yeah, I just did call it nature, you read it right. Just like a normal human can't live without food, water, urinating, or even taking a shit, he/she can’t resist the urge for sex. Not a single person here has never had an urge to have a taste or the opposite gender or rather the reproductive organ of another individual. The Africanism ignorance in us won't let...

COMRADE

Image
Growing up my priority objective set by my parents and myself was to make it to campus. All through lower schools the only motivation to pass exams was the imagination of life in campus. The imagination implanted in our brains by our teachers .’it’s a freestyle lifestyle up there ,no rules’ constant reminders .’you’ll get all the  guys or ladies’,funny enough look at us ,single ,rejected by love multiple times hadi it has become a normal.  Lets rewind it ,how about the meals .A comrade taking three meals a day is considered an  illuminati ,most skip either 1 or 2 meals a day .if it wasn’t for ‘fuliza’ and ‘kwa madhe’ kibandaski  where you can just spend 30 bob [chapo tatu chomaa] ,many comrades would perish of hunger. Ironically the meal that growing up we considered high class ,in the life of a comrade ,it’s the lowest ,am talking about chapo.Back then in our homes you had to wait for Christmas for this meal heh. How about ‘kusota’ ,its like a disease . An airb...

Toxic relationships among campus students

Image
You only live once ,live in the moment ,enjoy the moment ,no one knows what tomorrow holds’ blah blah blah. Those ain't my words but of the majority of campus students ‘comrades’. They have this inbuilt mentality that ‘campus life’ must be enjoyed to the fullest ,that its okay to make mistakes at this stage because after all we are not here to stay . Their all time slogan being ‘we are here for a good time not a long time’.Well some live  to regret these decisions while some somehow ‘enjoy’ the decision. Truth be said ,this comrade mentality and lifestyle is more toxic than a cobra’s poison .Its okay to enjoy life ,we are not here to suffer actually we already went through hell in the primary and secondary years and we do deserve a break. But the questions are ,’at what cost?’ what are the consequences? are our parents and forefathers morals instilled in us ,the cost to these ‘enjoyment’? Would your parent be proud of those moments? We all know the answers but our arrogance and insen...

What is Love🙄

How people have interpreted this phrase 'love' has brought lots of faith about it. Why though? Love ❤️ is a very powerful emotion! It is having passion in someone. It never ends and the emotion is too great to withstand. At least that's what I believe 😊. Love edifies one's character to be evil or descent to follow. It may be clouding one's thinking making you decieve yourself with false reasoning. This phrase 'love' my thoughts are of being an enemy or a friend. I know you wonder why😉 but come think of it, it brings jealousy sometimes which sometimes leads to anger and disappointment but can also make a perfect bond because true love never fails ❣️. Love does not matter the physical appearance of a person but the emotional values that one holds and what one is capable of feeling. This passion is believing the inner strong feelings is what builds love and in not relying on the outside part of it. I believe Love is a life-long-search. You must try to find it...
