AFRI-COLONIALISM

The white colonist never really departed, he left a black version of him with all his ideas and methodologies. Even though we do occasionally celebrate independence but we are still in shackles. We are prisoners of our very own imaginations. The black man somehow is convinced that 'dark/black' represents evil and 'white' represents the opposite.
Lemme start from the most sensitive subject, religion. And in this case, Christianity to be specific. Each and every single one of us has never imagined Jesus to be black. He is considered white despite all the facts proving otherwise. Why can't the Bible pages be black with white writings? I might sound petty but deep down I'm making alot of sense. The whites planted a seed in our minds, a seed that's being a source of us never progressing as a community. An African man when a house bulb mulfunction's, he goes on his knees and prays for it to be fixed. Yet the easiest and best thing is him to fix it by himself, that doesn't require God.
In most areas, the number of churches is 10 times the number of hospitals. In Finland there are no churches. Are you getting my point reader? How you choose to interpret that information is entirely upto you.
Aside with religion, how about we talk about the governments. 'kazi mtaani', an initiative our government started with the aim of creating employment. How is kazi kwa vijana mtaani different from the colonial labor back in the day? A graduate is forced to sweep street roads. The "kazi ni kazi, usichague" mentality is actually a bondage.
How about graduates internships? Either an employer pays peanuts or they don't pay and overwork a fellow black like a donkey. "We are giving you a platform, you should be thankful", that's crap and that's modern day colonialism, oppressed by a fellow black man in the name of platform.
My content about this afri-colonialism cannot fit in a blog, I'll need a novel heh. But before I sign out, a black man walks in/out of a forest, we Africans label him as "jangili",a white man does the same and call him a "tourist". A black man picks a gun to protect his land and we call him a "terrorist", the white man does worse and they are heros, icons and patriots to us. Writing this blog has actually made me see how rotten to the core we are as Africans. Gaddafi, Mandela, magufuli and many more leaders stood against this and we all know what happened, Gaddafi, his own people who he was protecting helped the white man assassinate him. That's a story for another day.
Author signing out, "drops the mike".
